LOS ANGELES – Sept. 24, 2015 – Lion Fight Muay Thai held their weigh-ins today for the live broadcast of AXS TV FIGHTS: LION FIGHT 24 this Friday, Sept. 26 and all fighters made weight. AXS TV FIGHTS commentators UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich and “The Voice” Michael Schiavello call the action live starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT from the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.
The main event features two-time world champion Ky Hollenbeck (31-3-1), who returns to the ring for the first time in over a year, against Richard Abraham (7-2), while Lion Fight Super Welterweight Champion Joe Nattawut (54-5-2) takes on challenger Charlie Peters (32-13) and New Jersey’s Ognjen Topic (15-5) faces Ireland’s Stephen Meleady (38-18) for the vacant lightweight title.
The night’s main card kicks off with lightweight Yeison Berdugo, who makes his pro debut versus Julio Pena (2-0). Then, welterweights Nicolas Parlanti (15-6) and Chris Mauceri (7-2) square off before welterweight Gaston Bolanos (4-0) takes on Ben Yelle (23-17-1), who missed weight by one pound on his first attempt, but was allowed time to drop the weight and came in at the maximum allowed 143 pounds.
