ObyFight vs. Kingdom Fighters is set for Brave 12: KHK Legacy
The official weigh-ins of Brave 12: KHK Legacy witnessed the fuming rivalry between two of the strongest fight teams in the promotion. Tahar Hadi fighting out of ObyFight, France will take on Jarrah Al Selawe representing Kingdom Fighters, Jordan. The fight is scheduled as the co-main event of the evening. This marks the second time two fight teams are clashing against each other. In the previous clash, Jarrah Al Selawe faced David Bear, who is the team mate of Hadbi. Bear was submitted by Al Selawe with a mere four seconds left for the final bell at Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises set in Amman, Jordan.
Though both fighters have declared that the fight is set to determine the best in the welterweight division, the rivalry between the teams are running parallel. Hadbi is coming out of a knockout victory of one among the most celebrated welterweights of Brave Combat Federation, Mohammad Fakhreddine. Meanwhile Al Selawe has is one among the two fighters to have four wins over their four appearances at Brave Combat Federation. The winner of the bout also stands to challenge the current welterweight champion, Carlston Harris.
“I am confident that I will win this fight and move ahead with the title fight against Carlston Harris to claim the championship. Hadbi was losing all the three rounds against Carl Booth in the main event of Brave 5 in Mumbai, India. Meanwhile when I faced Booth in Brave 9 at Bahrain I was controlling all the fight and won the fight by decision”, said Jarrah Al Selawe.
The fight will take place at Brave 12: KHK Legacy on 11th May at Balai Sarbini Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia.
