KSW 59 took place earlier tonight in Lodz, Poland. In the main event the world’s strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowski (14-7) scored a quick first round TKO win over late notice replacement Nikola Milanović (0-1). The Serbian, who was a national champion in Sambo and Judo, stepped in on just a couple of hours notice to replace Bombardier who had earlier been rushed to hospital due to an acute appendicitis attack.

The co-main event saw a new bantamweight champion crowned as Sebastian Przybysz (8-2) outpointed Croatia’s Antun Racic (25-9-1) in a five round war. Przybysz avenged his 2018 loss to Racic and becomes just the second ever KSW bantamweight champion.

Eleswhere on the card Olympic hero Damian Janikowski (6-3) showed continued growth as an MMA fighter with a TKO win over the UK’s Jason Radcliffe (16-8), Darko Stosic (14-4) made a successful start to his KSW career with a big KO win over Michal Wlodarek (8-3), and reality TV star Adrian Bartosinski improved to 10-0 with a hard fought win over Spain’s Lionel Padilla (8-2).
