Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs Tecia Torres added to July 28 FOX 30 Calgary
According to Dana White, Former UFC Strawweright Champion Joanna Jedrzekczyk will face off against former top contender in the strawweight division at UFC Fight Night: Calgary July 28th.
Both women are coming off tough loses that can be considered a minor setback as Joanna has suffered back to back loses for the first time in her career against Rose Namajunas. Tecia Torres is coming off a decision lost, something both women have in common is that they are 0-3 against the current 115-pound champion Rose Namajunas.
Question going into this fight is that Joanna needs this victory more than Torres at this point, falling 0-3 in here last three fights is not where a former champion wants to be.
This will be the first time UFC has gone back to Calgary since 2012 at the saddle dome where that card was derailed with injuries, a lacked in ticket sales. On this card there is also talks about Dustin Poirer vs Eddie Alvarez as the main event.
