
Al-Selwady’s title win over “Mineiro” voted by fans as Brave 18’s Fight Of The Night
Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady will probably never forget Brave 18 fight night. Not only he got the biggest win of his career against Lucas “Mineiro”, but he also won the Brave world lightweight title in the process. And to make things even better, “The Pride of Palestine” also received fight of the night honors for his efforts against the former champion from Brazil.
The Al-Selwady x Mineiro bout was voted this week by fans in Brave Combat Federation’s social media platforms as the most entertaining out of the biggest fights at Brave 18, which took place at The Khalifa Sports City Arena, in Isa Town, Bahrain. Both fighters will receive a bonus check for their performances.
Through his social media, Al-Selwady made sure to thank the fans for their support, after spending a few days campaigning for votes, which set him to another bonus in his fifth Brave fight, with five wins to his name.
The other contenders for Brave 18 fight of the night were: the co-main event as champion Stephen Loman kept his belt in a hard-fought win against Felipe Efrain; the flyweight battle between Hussain Ayyad and Al Hassan Abo Ali, which Ayyad won by way of KO; the victorious return of Luan “Miau” Santiago as he dominated Djamil Chan; and Cian Cowley brutal knockout of Hardeep Rai.
