Former 3X Bellator champ set for debut

Former Bellator MMA lightweight champion Michael Chandler will finally make his UFC debut against Dan Hooker at UFC 257 on Jan. 23

Michael Chandler’s debut will be as the co-main event with the headliner being Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. UFC has tried two times before to get Chandler a fight first it was Poirier then Tony Ferguson all to no avail they turned their attention to Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira before settling on Hooker.

His last two fights in Bellator saw him finish his opponents and the last being Benson Henderson.

Dan Hooker is coming off a hars fought lost against Dustin Poirier.

The UFC 257 event will take place on “Fight Island,” in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi
