Brave Combat Federation officials have announced the date for the promotion’s debut in the Philippines. Brave 22 will be held at the famous Mall of Asia, in Manila, on March 15th. It will mark the beginning of 2019 for the biggest combat sports property in the Middle East, and the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world.
The Philippines are home to current Brave Bantamweight champion Stephen Loman. While no bouts have been announced for Brave 22, “The Sniper” is expected to feature. He’s the longest-reigning Brave champion and has currently two title defenses, more than any other titleholder in the history of the promotion.
Other names expected to be in action are some of Loman’s teammates at the world-famous Team Lakay. Fellow Bantamweight Jeremy Pacatiw, owner of the record for most promotional bouts (seven) is likely to extend his mark, as well as appearances by Harold Banario, Jomar Pa-ac, Jon Cris Corton and Crisanto Pitpitunge.
The Philippines will become the 15th country to host a Brave edition. Before that, the promotion started out in its home in the Kingdom of Bahrain, expanding next to Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, India, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Jordan, Indonesia, Northern Ireland, Morocco, Colombia, Pakistan, South Africa, and Saudi Arabia.
