Bellator Dynamite: 1 (September 19, 2015)

By The Sports Warriors, 09/08/2015

In San Jose, California September 19th at the SAP Center Bellator MMA makes history. 20 fights are on this card combined ( 16-MMA, 4 Glory )4 fights, 3-MMA and One Kickboxing fight depending on how quickly they go could end up overlapping each other. Also this will be the first time ever we will see an 8 fight main card headlined by Light Heavy Weight Championship matchup between Tito Ortiz vs Liam McGeary.

This card could go one of two ways; one explosive or second absolutely chaotic. With fights happening potentially at the same time it puts added pressure on the 38 fighters that have been placed in this event because most of the fighters, will say it does not bother them that their tv time might get cut on tv but everyone wants their moment. So, a question comes up is how will the visuals be? How will the on TV product be fair to the fans?

Now, on to the actual card that is on this show. The focus on the main event has been luke warm for the main event Tito Ortiz vs Liam McGeary but it’s not their fault because Bellator MMA has added something intriguing to the card below them which is the first 4 man Light HeavyWeight Tournament that has Emmanuel Newton, Phil Davis, King Mo Lawal and Linton Vassel this will crown the #1 contender for the strap. This is also a good way to build momentum for another contender to take on the winner of Ortiz/McGeary. In this tournament you will get to see Linton Vassell vs King Mo Lawal , Emanuel Newton vs Phil Davis four of the best Light Heavyweights in the world today but only one will be left standing at the end of the night so ask yourself which team are you on? #TeamSwarm #TeamMoney #TeamCortex #TeamWonderful

Other notables on this card is Josh “The Punk” Thomson joins the Bellator ranks coming off 3 straight losses in the UFC and coming off a tough loss to “El Cucuy” Tony Ferguson just 3 months ago. How does Josh Thomson rebound after such a devastating lost to take on Mike Bronzoulis who last fought for Bellator at Bellator 106 as part of the Fight Master Final tournament where he lost to Joe Riggs. However Mike Bronzoulis is coming off 3 straight wins in Legacy FC with 2 stoppages. Josh cannot come into this fight sleep walking considering his lack luster performances in the UFC finishing his UFC career 1-3 in his last 4 which could really be debatable if you really look into his last four fights but the old saying goes you don’t leave your fate in the judges hands.

Paul Daley will take on Fernando “The Menifee Maniac” Gonzalez in a Glory KickBoxing match. This matchup is an interesting one for the fact that on paper you are thinking this is a complete miss match that Fernando Gonzalez is way out of his element stepping up into this high-caliber matchup but for him he has to look at it as this will change the moniker that surrounds him as a GATE KEEPER or a Fraud that he has to continue to prove himself inside the Bellator cage then you look at who he is facing Paul “Semtex” Daley who is chomping at the bit to get a shot at the welterweight title that is why he has joined the Bellator MMA Team. Paul Daley has crazy power that is unmatched at any level, goes in with a mindset that he is going to take your head clean off so how one fighter prepares himself for this fight you have to train to keep the distance focus on what you can control. Overall Paul Daley gets the win.

This card is stacked from top to bottom literally. September 19th it is going down like wCw War Games inside the SAP Center in San Jose, California
